Nikki Gamble is a lecturer, writer and directs the Write Away education consultancy. She is an evaluator for the Literature Matters project which aims to promote children's literature in initial teacher training courses. Alison Ritchie works as a freelance editor and writer and has published several children's books. She lives in an Oxfordshire village with her two children and dog. Hannah George grew up in a house in the woods, a stone's throw from the sea. She began storytelling through small drawings in a series of A6 sketchbooks, which came with her on adventures and holidays. She studied illustration at Falmouth University, and since graduating in 2005 she has continually illustrated for Magazines, Card companies and Publishers.
