Ross Collins was born in Glasgow in 1972. In his last year at college, he won the Macmillan children's book prize. He lives in Glasgow and is now an established picture book illustrator. Guy Bass has worked as a theatre producer, actor and writer. He has written plays for both adults and children. He also writes with the Gormy Ruckles series for Scholastic. Guy lives in London with his wife.
