Speed Racer is a natural behind the wheel of a car and hopes to one day become a professional racer. Speed's dream comes true when he is asked to join Royalton Industries' racing team. However, when Speed gets a glimpse into the corrupt side of racing, he turns Royalton, the owner of the team, down. But if Royalton can't have Speed on his team, he vows to ruin Speed's career.
