Sarah Garland is a well-known creator of children's books, best known for her Coming and Going series of books for Puffin, which is still popular since its first title was published in 1982. Sarah lives in the Cotswolds with her family. Sarah Graham is an experienced teacher, wife and mother. She lives with her husband and family in the north of the U. K. where she teaches in a primary school. She is a keen horsewoman in her own time and uses the outdoors as a source of inspiration in her teaching. Carole Boarden is a primary school teacher in the North-West. She currently teaches year 6 and has special responsibility for mathematics and numeracy in the school. She is married with two children and lives with her husband and family near Chester. Carole Boarden is a pseudonym. Dr Graham Lawler is a well known mathematics education expert and he has advised both the BBC and Channel 4 education on their educational output and he is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio and independent radio. Dr Lawler is an author in his own right and works with young authors to help them develop their books. He is also a school speaker and works with schools to develop their mathematics provision.
