She loves gardening and spending time on her Auntie Mimi's allotment, affectionately known as 'Balmoral' because it is the most beautiful allotment in all of Dover (it even has a loo!). Katherine Halligan has written many successful children's books. She comes from a long line of avid gardeners who taught her the Latin names of plants.
