Top of the Class Tales is a set of five educational short stories. These stories are composed almost entirely of the most used 500 words in the English language; words that are targeted by schools, from early primary, for reading and spelling. Starting with the top 100 words, each story gets progressively more challenging by including the next 100 words. Tables of words used allow readers to mark their progress as they master each word. Extra words used are illustrated with brightly coloured pictures. Be top of the class by learning the words that matter, in the context that they are used, and excel at reading and spelling.
