She has written numerous children's books about work, play, fashion, and daily life, past and present, and has won the Times Educational Supplement Book Award. Giovanni Caselli was born near Florence and now lives in Malta. He has illustrated over 100 books. He won the Anderson Award in 1993. He also works as an author, and trained in Milan to become an editor. Jacqueline Morley studied English at Oxford University. She has taught English and History and has a special interest in the history of everyday life.
