Jillian Powell is an experienced writer of children's fiction and non-fiction. Chani McBain was brought up in Renfrewshire and moved to Glasgow to study at the University of Strathclyde. She now lives in Edinburgh where she works in publishing. She is the author of Ginger Nut (Picture Kelpies). Kirsteen Harris-Jones completed a BA in children's illustration for publishing, and has worked in advertising, graphic design and animation.
