She has written over 80 books for schools, stories and articles for BBC Playdays. Jillian Powell is an experienced writer of children's fiction and non-fiction. Hiawyn Oram is a highly respected, award-winning children's author. With over 60 books publsihed to date, she has also worked on children's television series and musicals. A teacher for many years - Pat Moon gave up the day job in 1991, when she published her first books for children - both in verse, Earthlines and Triplets. Since then she has gone on to write novels and stories across a variety of age groups, and has had over twenty books published to date. Pat lives in Norwich with her husband, three kids and two cats! Monica Hughes is the author of "A Handful of Seeds" and the Isis""trilogy. Frances Ripley is a children's author who specializes in books on transportation and construction vehicles. Anne Adeney writes for children, has four daughters of her own, does remedial teaching, teaches Sunday school, and is a tireless promoter of children's books and reading. Damian Harvey has worked as a hospital radio presenter, painter-decorator, and swimming instructor, as well as writing several books for children. He lives in Blackpool, Lancashire. Claire Llewellyn lives in Hertford and is an established non-fiction author for children.
