JANET S. WONG has written many award-winning books for young readers, including two others illustrated by Margaret Chodos-Irvine. She lives in Hopewell, New Jersey. MARGARET CHODOS-IRVINE is the illustrator of several highly praised children's books, including the Caldecott Honor-winning Ella Sarah Gets Dressed, which she also wrote. She lives in Seattle, Washington. GENEVIEVE COTE has illustrated a number of children's books, including The Lady of Shalott by Alfred, Lord Tennyson; Minn and Jake by Janet S. Wong; and her own What Elephant? Her editorial art has appeared in the New York Times and other publications. She lives in Montreal, Quebec.
