Nick Crumpton is a zoologist at University College London. He completed his PhD at Cambridge University before working at the Natural History Museum and for the BBC as a journalist and researcher. Claire Freedman lives on the Essex coast close to Southend-on-Sea. She is the author of many books for children, including Who's For Dinner, Cuddle Bear and Bedtime, Little Ones! When not writing, Claire spends her time sailing and walking in the countryside. Gavin Scott lives in Somerset with his partner and little boy. He studied Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth Art College before becoming an artist for Hallmark cards. Gavin draws a lot of his influence from the countryside.
