This children's picture book tells the story of how the most popular song in the world began as a little ditty, "Good Morning to All," to greet kindergarten students each day. Sisters Mildred and Patty Hill wrote the music and lyrics and later changed the words to the familiar "Happy Birthday to You."

Librarian Nancy Allen is devoted to celebrating the unique attractions of Southern culture. She earned a BA in psychology at the University of Washington and a teaching certificate for special education and educational psychology at Saint Martin's College. A talented musician, Allen is a member of the American Library Association, the Arkansas Library Association, and several community arts organizations. She and her husband live in Conway, Arkansas, a place very close to Cyndi Lou's hometown. In addition to teaching art and design, Gary Undercuffler has received numerous awards for his art, including three Illustration of the Month awards and three Illustration of the Year awards from Highlights magazine. Undercuffler lives in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
