This work presents words with both short and long a sounds; br combination (broom, brush); letter g beginnings (gap, gear goose); and ck endings (duck, knock, lock). Each word search has ten words to help children grasp the basics and prepare them for reading success.

He recently shifted his focus to publishing and advertising, and is the current illustrator of Sterling's First Word Search series and numerous sticker books.
