Rosemary Wells is the author of more than 40 books about Max and Ruby. She lives in Connecticut. JOEL HARPER (Claremont, CA) growing up in an artistic household, Joel Harper was encouraged by his family to express himself through music and writing. When he is not writing and publishing books, he plays and teaches lap slide guitar and Native American Flute. GARY KELLEY was raised in a musical family and exposed to drawing, painting, and art history at an early age by his artist uncle. This stoked a lifelong passion for art and music with a restless eye and an eclectic ear. Over his extensive career as a professional artist, he has illustrated some 30 picture books on subjects from the Blues to Paganini to classic literature. He has also created murals for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Google, and Barnes and Noble. In addition, he has designed dozens of CD covers and portraits for Rolling Stone magazine.
