She spends her time painting, gluing, cutting and sticking, and when she's not walking or cycling, she's at her desk with the radio on, and a cup of tea going cold on the side. Oh, and trying to teach the new young cats not to walk on the artwork. Garry Parsons studied Fine Art at Brighton College and after that he went on to study Illustration. He is a talented new illustrator, whose work has captured the imaginations of children all over the UK. Billy's Bucket won the 2004 Children's Book Award.
