"Lightning" by Gail Saunders-Smith explores the profound and transformative power of storms, both literal and metaphorical. The narrative delves into the life of a protagonist who grapples with their turbulent emotions and experiences, paralleling the unpredictable nature of lightning itself. As storms loom both outside and within, the character embarks on a journey of self-discovery and healing, learning to embrace the chaos while finding beauty in the fleeting moments of clarity. The interplay of meteorological phenomena and personal growth underscores themes of resilience, change, and the illuminating connections we forge in the face of life's challenges.
