"The Idiot" by Fyodor Dostoevsky follows Prince Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin, a man whose innocence and compassion set him apart in a corrupt society. Returning to Russia after years in a sanatorium, Myshkin encounters a world rife with greed, envy, and moral decay. He becomes embroiled in a love triangle with the beautiful but tormented Nastasya Filippovna and the ambitious Aglaya Epanchin. As Myshkin grapples with the complexities of human nature and the dichotomy of good and evil, his naïveté challenges societal norms, leading to profound consequences for him and those around him. The novel explores themes of identity, morality, and the impact of kindness. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].
