Following the success of "Kids Learn to Knit", Lucinda Guy and Francois Hall have combined forces again to show young children, from 6 years of age, how to crochet, with the help of Francois Hall's witty animal illustrations: two little mice and a friendly wolf. The book takes children from the very first steps of learning about yarns, to how to make a foundation chain, how to work the basic crochet stitches, such as double, half treble and treble crochet. It explains how to shape crochet and how to work in the round and how to stitch crochet pieces together. Each stage in the learning process culminates in a simple, brightly coloured project, so young crocheters can test their skills and have fun doing so at the same time.
