Emily is about to be landed with a baby brother or sister - and she's not happy. She's heard all about how noisy and smelly a baby can be - and how older sisters tend to get ignored once it turns up! Little does she know that there's not just one baby on the way.

She spends her time painting, gluing, cutting and sticking, and when she's not walking or cycling, she's at her desk with the radio on, and a cup of tea going cold on the side. Oh, and trying to teach the new young cats not to walk on the artwork. Francesca Chessa has illustrated over 40 books with publishers all over the world, including Library Lily and Elliot's Arctic Surprise . She lives in Turin, Italy, where she runs art workshops for children and adults.
