Molly Sage has always wanted to illustrate children's books. When her son started school she decided to try digital illustration and taught herself how to use the illustration programs from the manuals. She likes the way she can do subtle changes such as playing around with different colour combinations on the screen - it's like having a piece of paper to draw on that never runs out. She has produced illustrations for BBC children's magazines, John Brown junior and several books for Usborne Publishing.
