Stimulating and innovative, this new publishing product for school children offers the pleasure of reading together with the fun of colouring. The first pages retell in a fresh and modern way the incredible story of Dorothy, the girl from Kansas in the famous book for children by L. Frank Baum, and her dog Toto, suddenly projected into the fantastic world of Oz, where they will face many adventures before going back home. After reading the story, young readers may colour according to their own taste and imagination the beautiful drawings by Fabiana Attanasio, an artist specialised in illustrating children books and able to recreate the themes of the story in an original, sensitive and creative way. The incredible characters in the story, the wonderful environments of the Land of Oz and the Emerald City, but also funny and curious objects are drawn with a rich variety of details, allowing children to fill in the blanks in the pages with a thousand colours, expressing their creativity and having fun with pencils and pens. The book contains also a large poster to colour, which can easily be detached and hung in the children's room. ILLUSTRATOR: Fabiana Attanasio was born in Rome in 1985. She began her artistic career after leaving school, first in the field of comics, before dedicating herself completely to illustration. She graduated from the International School of Comics and is currently working with publishers in Italy and abroad. For White Star Kids she has illustrated the books The Sweet Side of Fairy Tales and Scary Recipes. With a poster 70 x 100cm
