Karen Owen: Karen Owen is a short story writer and journalist. The mother of two small children, she also works as a teaching assistant in an inner-city primary school. Karen lives in south London. Barroux studied photography, art, sculpture and architecture in France at the famous Ecole Estienne and Ecole Boule. He went on to work as an art director in Paris and Montreal. Barroux illustrates by creating linocut images and using vibrant colors and is now well known for his illustrations for children's books.
