Parenting magazine selected Owens's book A Caribou Alphabet as one of the ten best picture books of 1991, and her book Prize in the Snow was awarded the 1995 Lupine Award and the Christopher Award. Ms. Owens lives in Walpole, Maine. Ethel Pochocki is the author of several other books for children and adults, including Once Upon a Time Saints. Barry Moser's works are represented in many prestigious collections around the world including the Metropolitan Museum of New York, British Museum in London, Harvard and Princeton University LIbraries, The Vatican Library, and the Library of Congress.
