What do you say when children ask the question: "What is God?"? Where do you start to explain? This book is an excellent non-denominational approach. Beautifully illustrated and written in simple direct language, it looks at universality of different religions and the spirituality which links people of all creeds, cultures and beliefs. Amongst the questions which are addressed: Is God in the thunder and lightning? Is God in the stars and the universe? Is God an old man in the clouds? Is God a mystery and a puzzle? What is religion? What are Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists? What are the Holy books? Why are religions different? How are they similar? Why do people pray? How can I talk to God? Beautifully written in 58 easy-to-follow stanzas of blank verse. Non-denominational approach covers all kids of religion and the importance of the freedom to worship and to be able to think for yourself. Beautifully illustrated with 16 full page full colour illustrations showing different ideas, religions and practices
