There is a house on the edge of the forest, and a family who cannot move on. When the wild howls through the Karri trees they listen for their lost son. So, when Aiden appears in the dark of night, it seems their prayers have been answered. But for Aiden the questions have only just begun. And if he wants to return home to his own family, he will have to find out what happened to the missing boy whether he wants to or not.
