Rich is best known for his collaborations with artist Jo lle Jones on the graphic novels 12 Reasons Why I Love Her and You Have Killed Me. Their most recent and acclaimed collaboration has been Lady Killer. The series received four Eisner Award nominations in 2016. Currently, Rich is a Group Editor at Vertigo, an imprint of DC Comics. James Kochalka is the author and illustrator of several beloved children's book series, including Johnny Boo and Dragon Puncher , the second installment of which won an Eisner Award in 2012. His comics for adults have won four Ignatz Awards and a Harvey Award. In 2011 he was named the first Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont. In addition to drawing comics he designs video games ( Glorkian Warrior: The Trials of Glork ). Cecil Castellucci is the author of Boy Proof and The Queen of Cool, as well as a singer/songwriter, actress and film-maker. The Plain Janes is her second graphic novel. Jim Rugg is the co-writer and artist of the critically acclaimed Street Angel series. He has also contributed inks to DC/Vertigo's American Virgin. Dean Haspiel, who drew Mo and Jo, used to read Fantastic Four and Shazam! when he was a kid. He admits that he used to fight with his brother all the time, too: "All siblings have a healthy rivalry, and so did we. " Dean has illustrated Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon's The Escapist and drawn superheroes for Marvel and DC Comics. He has created his own comic character, Billy Dogma, and is the founder of the webcomic collective ACT-I-VATE. If he could have any superpower, he'd like to fly, "because that would just be cool!" Jay Lynch, who wrote Mo and Jo's story, loved to read funny superhero comics like Plastic Man when he was a kid. When he wasn't reading comic books, he would draw his own cartoon characters on the sidewalk in front of his house then hide in the bushes to hear what other kids had to say about his drawings! Jay grew up to become a legendary cartoonist and has helped create many popular humor products, including Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. If he could have any superpower, he'd like to know what color something is just by touching it.
