Will and Squill have been friends ever since they were both tiny. Neither of their mums are happy about it. 'Dirty little squirrel', says Will's mum. 'Dirty little baby,' says Squill's. But Will and Squill understand one another, and they have great fun together. Then Will gets a kitten, and Squill gets jealous, so they quarrel. But the kitten spends too much time sleeping, and Will misses Squill. He wants his old friend back. 'Will you say "sorry"?' he asks him. 'I squill if you squill,' says Squill.
