This story is based on an African legend. It is about a firefly and a spider named Anansi who go hunting for eggs. The firefly lights the way and leads Anansi to a field where there are eggs. Each time they find eggs, Anansi grabs them and keeps them for himself. Firefly is angry and leaves him alone. Anansi has nowhere to go, but sees Tiger's house in the distance. He pretends to be his godson, but Tiger is not tricked. Tiger and his wife eat some of the eggs for supper and they all go to sleep. Tiger puts the rest of the eggs in a pot with a lobster. Each time Anansi tries to take the eggs, the lobster pinches him.
