This story about two friends, a frisky penguin named Chocolate and a spirited polar bear named Vanilla on a quest to find the Aurora Borealis, was a winner in the 2007 Scholastic Kids are Authors competition. This book, including the beautiful watercolor illustrations, is completely the work of four sixth-grade students from Ogden Avenue School in La Grange, Illinois.
