A big book of stories for 2-5-year-olds, about the pets who live in the houses along Buffin Street: the witch's cat, the old sea-captain's parrot, the snake, the hamster, the new puppy, the pony, the gerbil and so on. A follow-up to MOO BAA BAA QUACK, this has a wonderful cast of animal and human characters and the same energetic, up-to-the-minute quality that makes Francesca Simon such a successful writer for this age group. Emily Bolam's bold, brightly coloured illustrations are a perfect counterpart.

There are 96 pages in this book. This is a picture book. A picture book uses pictures and text to tell the story. The number of words varies from zero ('wordless') to around 1k over 32 pages. Picture books are typically aimed at young readers (age 3-6) but can also be aimed at older children (7+). This book was published 2013 by Hachette Children's Group .
