Caroline Crowe worked as a journalist for many years, before switching to writing books for children full-time. Her first book, Pirates in Pyjamas, won the Heart of Hawick Children's Book Award and her second, Is that an Elephant in my Fridge was chosen by the Scottish Booktrust as one of their Bookbug books for 2018. When she isn't thinking up words that rhyme with pants (there aren't that many), she enjoys eating salt and vinegar crisps and reading as much as she can. Jess Pauwels is a graphic designer and illustrator of children's books. She lives in Brussels. Ella Okstad loves to draw ghosts, vampires, humans, cats, and all sorts of creatures. She lives and works as an illustrator in Trondheim, Norway. When she's not in her office creating scary, cute, or peculiar creatures for books, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three boys, and a cat. Visit her at Okstad. com.
