One moment it was just an ordinary Saturday afternoon and the next ...After her house is destroyed by a bomb, Lizzy goes to stay with old Miss Damps, who is very kind and great fun. They soon become the best of friends. There's more freedom and fun to be had in the country ! but the hardships and dangers of war are never far away, as Lizzy and Miss Damps discover. Look out for the sequel, Lizzy Fights On, which is also being reissued on the Hodder list this month.
