Little Marinetta lives in her very own room at the top of an old dolls' house, and every evening she dances for Uncle Theo Bear who plays the violin. When he takes her to see a ballet performance at the toy theatre she is so enchanted that she decides to go to dancing school and become a proper ballerina. But can her dream ever come true? This picture book is in sympathy with the dreams and aspirations of all budding ballerinas and will delight any small child who has dreamt of becoming a real ballet dancer. Elaine Mills is the author and illustrator of Plum Tree Cottage and The Toy Hospital.
