Tom, Katie and Friends is a delightful new series of fun and colourful picture books about six young friends. The books feature stories about everyday events and are designed to help children learn about social behaviour at an early age. Through the stories, children will find out how to interact with one another, teaching them to respect the character, personality and emotions of their peers. Young children will be able to relate to the six friends coping with different circumstances and emotions, whether they are reading the books themselves or simply enjoying the illustrations while the stories are read to them. The message in each story is reinforced by questions included at the back of the book. These questions will help children talk about their thoughts, emotions and behaviour. * For children aged 3-6 years old, this series of books can be used by teachers in Reading time or for Circle Time and also by parents to read at home with their children.

There are 24 pages in this book. This is a picture book. A picture book uses pictures and text to tell the story. The number of words varies from zero ('wordless') to around 1k over 32 pages. Picture books are typically aimed at young readers (age 3-6) but can also be aimed at older children (7+). This book was published 2013 by LDA .
