Edward Lear (12 May 1812 - 29 January 1888) was an artist, illustrator and writer known for his nonsensical poetry and his limericks, a form which he popularized. Carol Greene has been writing since she was six years-old, and has produced over 100 books for children. She lives with her three cats and two dogs in St. Louis, Missouri. Anne Mortimer has been painting animals since she was seven years-old. She is a member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, and illustrates diaries, calendars and cards as well as children's books. Anne Mortimer lives in Somerset with her husband and two cats.
