After working in both design and animation, Victor became a full-time illustrator. He has since created many picture books, and is the winner of several illustration awards. Victor lives in Rio de Janeiro with his wife, Renata and their son Joao. Edith Nesbit was an English author and poet who published over 60 books of fiction for children under her pen name E. Nesbit.
