She has written several books for children, but Slow Down, Monkey! is her debut picture book. Duncan Beedie is a freelance illustrator and children's author based in Bristol, UK. His debut picture book `The Bear who Stared' was recently shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2017.
