On a sizzling summer's day, Little Red, Little Blue, Roany and Gino head off for the River Noodle to take part in the annual Boating Bonanza. Animals from near and far have gathered on the water in their ingenious boats - all eager to win the prize: a chance to turn the key on the Wonky Wooden Wagon and watch its transformation into a carnival carousel. But then a naughty magpie steals the key and it looks as if the afternoon has been ruined. Little Red delves into her sack of smiles and Gino is transformed from a dog to a dogfish to retrieve the missing key and save the day. A summery story that celebrates the sheer enjoyment of being with friends.
