Mitchie, a stage-shy fourteen year old, loves to sing. So when her mum takes a job as a cook at a summer camp for aspiring rock stars, Mitchie is ecstatic. Before she has even picked a bunk, Mitchie's voice catches the attention of the two most popular campers - tess, the reigning camp queen and Shane, a popstar and total hottie who is searching for his sound. It is shaping up to be the best summer ever. The only problem? To impress Tess, Mitchie pretends her mother is a music executive with big-time connections. Will her act put her singing and her budding relationship with Shane in jeapardy? or will Mitchie find her voice and rock the camp?
