The author, Ian Graham, is a full-time writer of books and magazines, specialising in technology. Andrea Mills has written a variety of children's books for DK, from readers to books in the DK Findout! series. Some of her books include Mythical Beasts, Findout! Bugs, and The Everything Book of Cats and Kittens. Roger Bridgman studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge, but worked for several years as a graphic designer. After studying electronics, he became a design engineer at Marconi. Roger was Curator of Communications at the Science Museum for over ten years, during which he wrote DK's Eyewitness Science: Technology and gained an MSc in History of Technology at Imperial College, London. Isabel Thomas is an experienced author of non-fiction books for children and has written many articles for national newspapers including The Guardian and The Times. Dr Mike Goldsmith works at the UK's National Physical Laboratory. He has worked on a variety of science topics, including sound and space. He has written several books for children.
