This exciting and colourful new series presents dinosaurs through a combination of beautiful artwork, zoom-in boxes, awesome fact boxes, fun comparisons and quiz features. Each book concentrates on a different kind of dinosaur, highlighting particular features of that type with up-to-date information and latest discoveries. DUCKBILLS AND BONEHEADS takes a closer look at those groups of plant eaters that roamed the world millions of years ago. It looks at Dryosaurus' wanderings, Iguanodon's claw and the funny- shaped head of Stegosaurus. A clear and colourful timeline shows when this group of dinosaurs lived lived, and simple maps show where the fossil finds have been. ARMOURED GIANTS takes a fresh look at the bones, plates, spikes and spines that made up these tank-like dinosaurs. It goes into Stegosaurus' plates, and at the food of Sauropelta.
