As an educator, author Margi McCombs has spent years listening to the questions children ask about the child Jesus. In careful response to those questions, she blesses the young and curious with these simple, truthful answers. Written in charming, easy-to-read rhyme and paired with Janet Samuel's bright, colorful illustrations, this delightful children's book brings Jesus' early years to light.

Now, when little ones ask, "What was Jesus like as a little boy?" you need only open this book and read...

When Jesus was a little boy,
He would have played with YOU.
He would have been the perfect friend-
So loving, kind, and true.
