This beautifully poetic text follows the twice-yearly migration of the snow geese across North America from the Arctic to the warm valleys of New Mexico. Evocative landscapes illustrate the migration, conjuring up feelings of wonder in our world and sadness in its abuse. Deborah King has captured perfectly the essence of the beauty of our planet and our fears for it's future. At the end, the book includes a page of factual information about the life of the snow goose.
