A heartfelt story about anticipation, longing and the need to compromise from award-winning picture book duo, Jan Ormerod and Carol Thompson. The children are sure that Gramps would never feel lonely if he had a dog of his own. They say the dog should be called Rex, but what would Rex look like? So they play Looking for Rex, and pretend to see Rex, but whenever they think they find Rex . . . it is never really the right Rex. Where is he? Looking for Rex is a dog story to be shared between grandparents and grandchildren from two picture book award winners. Jan Ormerod and Carol Thompson combine to create a charming bedtime story about the important bond that can only be shared by grandparent and child.
