Born in the USA, raised in the UK and now resident in Europe, Alex Stewart has been a full-time writer for almost 25 years, and has written over 150 history titles for both adults and children. A visiting lecturer at the Institut Catholique d'Etudes Superieur (ICES, La Roche sur Yon, France), Alex also teaches Creative and Professional Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University, England. Alex, whose pastimes and interests include drama, music, sport and travel, lives near Nantes and works in a large stone hut at the bottom of his garden.
