The little girl of this story finds a funny lost little pup, with flippy-floppy ears and a fluffy little tail, so she takes him home with her and feeds him with a bottle. But after a week, he still hasn't opened his eyes. So she runs to ask her Uncle Hughie, and he tells her exactly what to do. But will she remember exactly what he's told her when she gets home? This funny, sweet story is full of lyrical, nonsense variations on the words "Sleepy Pendoodle" that children will delight in - and features the most adorable puppy ever put to paper!
