Professor Peter Jones has been an active supporter of school mathematics over many years and helped pioneer the introduction of the graphics calculator into Victorian Schools. Peter is a vastly experienced writer of mathematical texts and he is lead author on two of the texts in the Essential VCE Mathematics series. His area of expertise is applied statistics. Associate Professor Kay Lipson currently teaches statistics at undergraduate and graduate level, as well as conducting courses for industry and government. She is the co-author of several current secondary mathematics textbooks. David is an experienced author having written a number of books in the area of General Maths and graphics calculators. He is currently Head of Mathematics, Preshil, The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School, Kew. Barbara has worked at Monash University as a Mathematics Method lecturer in the Education Faculty and is an experienced Mathematics teacher. She is currently teaching at Sandringham Secondary College. Sue Avery is an experienced VCE maths teacher, and an experienced writer of the Essential series at the VCE level. She has conducted student seminars on VCE preparation in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics and has also been involved in maths research work for the VCAA. Dr. Michael Evans writes a health column for Canada's "Globe and Mail" and is an associate professor at the University of Toronto and a staff physician at Toronto Western Hospital. Dr Michael Evans has gained a wealth of experience whilst Head of Mathematics at Scotch College. He is heavily involved in curriculum development both at a Victorian and national level. Michael is a vastly experienced writer of mathematical texts and he is lead author on a number of the texts in the Essential VCE Mathematics series. Associate Professor Kay Lipson currently teaches statistics at undergraduate and graduate level, as well as conducting courses for industry and government. She is the co-author of several current secondary mathematics textbooks. Doug Wallace has been a Senior Mathematics Teacher at Wesley College, Melbourne for 20 years. He was Head of Mathematics from 1990 to 2000 and is now Senior College Curriculum and International Baccalaureate Co-ordinator. Dr Michael Evans is Head of Mathematics at Scotch College and also actively involved in the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. His interest in mathematics extends to the Mathematics Olympiad Team. David Greenwood teaches at Scotch College and has special expertise in the creative use of graphics calculators. Professor Peter Jones from Swinburne University has taken a keen interest in secondary school mathematics and has also had a key role in the development of the new course of study. Dr Kay Lipson's experience extends through secondary and tertiary courses. She is currently a lecturer in statistics at Swinburne University.
