"Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley tells the haunting story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who becomes obsessed with the pursuit of creating life. He constructs a creature from assembled body parts, but horrified by its monstrous appearance, he abandons it. The creature, seeking acceptance and understanding, becomes increasingly isolated and vengeful after facing rejection from humanity. As it embarks on a campaign of terror against Victor, the two are locked in a tragic struggle that examines the consequences of ambition, the nature of humanity, and the quest for belonging. Their fates intertwine, leading to devastating results for both creator and creation. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].
