The Case of the Lost Boy While searching for his mysteriously lost human family, King the dog detective is adopted by another family, who names him Buddy. Buddy succeeds is solving the mystery of their missing boy.

Waites lives and works in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband, Gerard, and their three children.
