In this delightful sequel to The Romantic Giant, Waldo finds he has a rival for the attentions of Heavy Hetty. Waldo realises he can't cope without Hetty to cook for him, but even worse he is missing her terribly. Still Ed the handsome, dashing fitness trainer is going to be a hard act to beat, but Waldo finally finds a way to tell Hetty how he feels. A warm, funny book with enchanting, witty, full colour illustrations. An excellent first reader for any child.
